Reminder: Daylight Saving Time Ends Later This Year

By: TechComm Services Manager

Due to the implementation this year of the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005, Daylight Saving Time (DST) will end on November 4, 2007, one week later than in previous years. If you did not update your system software in the spring to automatically adjust the time for the new DST schedule, you might have to manually change the time on PCs, servers, and networks in your office.

Xpeditor, HARP, and QuadMax/OnBase document management applications rely on the system clock to initiate scheduled events. If your system clock has not been updated for the new schedule, events may not occur at the time you expect between 10/28/07 (date DST would end on previous schedule) and 11/04/07 (date DST ends this year).

Refer to the Quadax news bulletin from March 2, 2007 for further details and links to software patches/upgrades.
