HARP Version 2.35 Released
A new version of HARP was released today and implemented for all clients on the Quadax system. The following is a summary of the notable enhancements in this release:
CPT Bundling in Insurance Process
HARP has a new option for bundling charges with the same CPT code during the Insurance process rather than during charge batch balancing. The advantage of moving charge bundling to the Insurance process is that unique charge data, such as accession numbers, are preserved in HARP
Fee Set Active Values
Fee sets provide any easy way to customize pricing for multiple entities, such as physicians, departments, or specialties. Fee sets can now have active values with effective dates.
NDC Information
A new special ticket message screen will make it easier to enter the National Drug Code (NDC) information for provider-administered drugs into HARP. The NDC information will print in the shaded area of block 24 on hardcopy CMS-1500 claims.
Address Error Messages for Outsourced Patient Statements and Claims
The address error messages will now describe the reason an address failed the edits instead of providing a generic message.
LIRP for Automatic Adjustments
Line item data can now be posted by the system for automatic adjustments created for the small balance write-off, collection, and unclaimed funds processes. This option is controlled by a new Receipt Parameter and applies only to HARP account that record line item paid and adjustment amounts for primary and secondary insurances as well as patient payments.
Release Notes
Complete documentation on these enhancements is in the HARP Release Notes, available from the HARP Documentation link in the Quadax Portal. Contact your Quadax Service Consultant if you have questions about implementing any optional features.
