New Certificate for Quadax FTP Server

By: Candace Wintering, Manager, Technical Communication

The Quadax FTP server (209.190.183.5) will be out of service for a brief time on 6/25/2009 around 10 a.m. EDT while a new server certificate is applied. The process should take about 30 minutes. During this period, you will be unable to access the server.

Depending on your system security, you may need to accept the new certificate before you are able to establish a secure connection with the Quadax FTP server. To accept the certificate, initiate a connection to the Quadax FTP server from your production FTP client server. A prompt will ask if you want to accept the certificate, and then simply accept it.

You may also be able to wait for your scheduled FTP transmission and accept the certificate at that time. On some systems, however, the certificate acceptance prompt does not appear and the scheduled FTP process fails.

If your system requires the certificate to be manually applied, Quadax Network Services will send a copy of the certificate to your server administrator or designated person. Please provide their contact information to your account representative, and your account representative will submit a request to Network Services to send the certificate.

Thank you for your patience during this process.
