2008 CPT Code Update Reminder

Effective for dates of service January 1, 2008 and later, providers must start using the 2008 revised Physicians' Current Procedural Terminology (CPT^®) codes for all services. According to the American Medical Association, CPT 2008 will include 242 new codes, 298 revised codes and 364 deleted codes. Changes will affect anesthesia, evaluation & management codes, surgery, radiology, pathology/laboratory and medicine codes.

Quadax will be updating our edits to check electronic claims against the new 2008 codes, effective with dates of service January 1, 2008 and after.
