2008 EDI Employee of the Year and Unsung Heroes
The tradition of naming an outstanding Employee of the Year as a part of the EDI State of the Department Meeting began five years ago when EDI consisted of only 25 employees. Since then, EDI has more than tripled in size.
EDI Services Vice President Tony Petras named Adam Tolowitzki as the 2008 Employee of the Year for demonstrating entrepreneurship, dedication, and initiative. Hired in 2007 as an Analyst for the EDI Xpeditor Implementation Team (XIT), Adam made a lateral move last year to an EDI Service Representative for the northwestern region of Ohio.
Adam appreciated the prestigious award. “My experience at Quadax so far has been both enjoyable and inviting. I love the challenge of learning new tasks, familiarizing myself with our admirable clients, and dedicating my efforts to always improve as an employee. Being the 2008 Employee of the Year is a great honor, and I look forward to the new adventures of 2009 and the years to come,” Adam said.
He respectfully credited his peers for his success: “I owe an immeasurable thank you to all the people who have helped me develop as an employee as I really appreciate their guidance.”

Along with Adam, six other employees were also recognized at the State of the Department Meeting as being “Unsung Heroes.” The award—established this year—recognizes three managers and three non-management level employees from EDI’s Service departments: Operations, Client Development, and Service. The 2008 EDI “Unsung Hero” awards went to Candy Thompson (Service Representative), Barb Ballas (Edits and Documentation Group Analyst), Nelson Laracuente (Technical Consultant), Dean Lauria (Regional Account Manager), Ann Chesney (Xpeditor Implementation Team Remittance Manager), and Margo McCarthy (Client Setup Manager).
