Patient Advocacy System (PAS) Functionality Enhancements

By: Mike Leszcz, Vice President, Reimbursement Support Services

Author's pictureQuadax’s Patient Advocacy System software (PAS) is used by both Quadax staff and customers who manage their billing and reimbursement support internally. Based on input from our customers and our internal production operation, each quarter Quadax releases new PAS functionality that meets the needs of our growing client base and addresses the evolving payer landscape. Our goal is to optimize reimbursement by continuing to automate manual processes and payer business rules through building intelligence into the software. One of the additional benefits of this automation is that it frees knowledge workers from performing manual tasks to meet the ever-changing payer billing requirements.
Several of our most recent enhancements include:

  1. Further automation of the appeal process beginning immediately upon learning of a denial from the payer, as well as enhanced functionality for claims that have multiple denial reasons on the same claim.
  2. Auto-populating government payer-specific claim and appeal forms, including Medicare and state Medicaid plan forms.
  3. User interface options that enable operators to easily perform multiple operations and view all case information and documents within the software.

To learn more about these features or other planned PAS enhancements, please contact your Account Executive for more details, or read about the enhancements in the PAS Release Notes and User Manual, available from the HARP Documentation link in the Quadax Portal.
