Introducing OnBase-Enabled HARP and PAS

By: Alana Papp, Senior Manager, ECM Services

Author's pictureQuadax is pleased to announce an exciting new feature of HARP and PAS: Source documents (i.e. requisitions, reports, EOBs, correspondence, etc.) stored in the OnBase® content management system can now be viewed and accessed directly from within HARP and PAS!

To get to source documents in HARP 3.0, click the Show Documents Related Tasks option from the Inquiry, Receipt, Charge Repository, and LIRP Data pages. To get to your source documents in PAS, click the Documents link in the Case Actions section of the Journal page. Selecting these links displays a table of all available source documents related to the patient’s ticket or case. The table can then be sorted by Date, Type, or Description by clicking on the column headings.

HARP 3.0

The document icon will open the document in a new window. All subsequent documents accessed from this icon will open in the same window as the first. The new window document icon  will open each document in a separate window.

Document research, completing assigned work lists, and more are streamlined with OnBase-Enabled HARP and PAS. Combine this feature with our new RemitMax services that index ticket numbers to pages on EOBs and correspondence, and you’ve hit a home run! One click of a button can take you to the applicable page for a ticket on a 250-page EOB!

In addition to being readily available for viewing in HARP 3.0, OnBase documents can also be indexed from within HARP 3.0. The Index Documents feature will send relevant HARP keyword data to OnBase, applying keyword values to applicable documents. This feature is especially useful for EOBs and correspondence that don’t typically have any keyword values tying them to the ticket data in HARP. Now you can index the ticket numbers to the EOB you are actively posting with a click of a button! Simply select Index Documents from the drop-down menu and watch your keyword values populate in OnBase. Not only does this feature streamline indexing, but it also greatly reduces the chance of user error.

Quadax has been using OnBase-Enabled HARP and PAS internally for over a year now to support our Manager client business. We’ve also had 15+ Partner accounts turn on this exciting new feature.

If you are interested in learning more about OnBase-Enabled HARP and/or PAS, contact your Quadax account representative for details. In order to integrate OnBase with HARP and/or PAS, OnBase must be contracted through Quadax, which entails additional fees and licensure.
