Integration with existing applications
With each custom IDM solution, Quadax explores ways to integrate document management with the existing line-of-business applications. Two important features are:
Indexing enrichment. Quadax can extract the data from your core business applications and apply additional index values to your electronic documents. This is accomplished by utilizing a common value found in both your core business and imaging applications. For example, if a scanned medical chart shares the same medical record number as a patient within your core business application, the process can automatically apply the patient name, attending physician, and service date as additional index values.
Image enabling core business applications. Quadax can image enable core business applications, such as A/R or EDI management systems. Your users can then access electronic documents directly from your core business application with a click of a mouse or a keyboard action. Users do not need to learn a new application because imaging is simply an extension of the application they already know. The true beauty is that this integration can commonly be accomplished without involving your core business application vendor.
