MITS Web Portal Implementation Delayed
The new Ohio Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS) Web Portal, scheduled to open in December 2010, has been delayed.
Regarding the delay, ODJFS says, “We are dedicated to making the transition from the 20-plus-year-old MMIS to the new MITS as smooth as possible for ODJFS and its various stakeholders. To that end, ODJFS and HP have collaboratively made the decision to extend the implementation in order to provide more time to ensure the system is ready for a seamless continuation of business functions in preparation for federal certification.”
