Increasing Employee Productivity

In our effort to provide continuously improved support to you, we have developed software that we use internally to streamline our employee productivity. The system I will highlight today is the Help Desk.

This system is used by all product lines to organize the tasks we have that involve supporting our customers. The Help Desk was developed by Quadax, using a product called Speedware Autobahn®. Autobahn is a rapid application development tool that uses a combination of technologies to create a web-enabled or Internet application. The interface is made up of HTML, just like this web page. This approach makes it very easy for our employees, since just about everyone these days knows how to use web pages. The business logic is actually handled with Speedware, the same programming tool that we use to develop HARP.

Using Autobahn and what we have learned from supporting our customers, we have built a system that works just the way we need it to.

Besides the Help Desk, we have developed several other internal support systems that help streamline employee productivity. These systems have been developed using the same technologies that we use to develop the applications that you use: Microsoft Visual Basic® for Xpeditor, Speedware for HARP, and Autobahn for the ASP Portal.
