Release Me

By: Tom Cronin, Manager of Quality Assurance

Changes are occurring to our HARP documentation resources that will keep you better informed on updates to the HARP system. HARP documentation resources include release notes and the manual. The release notes keep you informed on all the changes to HARP. The manual is complete documentation on all systems in HARP. At this time the manual is incomplete, but it is currently being updated and a new version will be published later this year.

In November 2003, we administered a survey and received comments on how to improve the documentation. Your suggestions, such as task-based/step-by-step instructions and easier search capabilities, are now being employed to produce an online help system, the next generation of HARP documentation. This online help system will soon be available for release notes. When the new version of the HARP manual is published, it too will be in the online help format.

HARP Release Notes

The HARP release notes will be published in the new online help format in May 2004. The main advantages of switching to this format are the search and index features. You can now search though all the release notes to find your topic of interest. The index will serve as the new cross-reference guide to find, for example, all updates to the CMS-1500 claim form. The table of contents (TOC) will list each new release and each enhancement. It's our hope these changes make it easier for you to find the relevant updates to HARP.

HARP Release Notification E-mail

In March 2004, we began sending e-mails to inform you of upcoming changes to HARP. The HARP Release Notification e-mail summarizes the systems changed within HARP and gives you a brief description of the major enhancements. The e-mail is sent to all Quadax clients using HARP who have signed up to receive product news in the Quadax ASP Portal. To subscribe, register on the ASP Portal via the Quadax web site or contact your Quadax Service Consultant. To unsubscribe, update your profile in the Customize folder.
